Our Story

Junction Village Early Education is a privately owned and operated Centre.
Tash, the owner, has a genuine love for children and believes their joy for life and adventure is contagious.

Being a Mum myself to three school aged daughters and having had the privilege of always having them be in care at the same service with me, I truly feel it to be an absolute honour when a family chooses to enrol their child with us.

Following in my Mum’s footsteps where she has over 35 years’ experience and has created alongside myself several exceeding services, our passion for quality education and care and hands on approach has provided us with the industry knowledge to create centres that set us apart from others.

I have been in the education and care industry for over 18 years and have worked and lived in the local community for over ten years, proving valuable insights to the quality care that your child deserves.

Philosophy

Our Centre is founded on a Philosophy that has a commitment to building strong respectful relationships with our Children, Families, Educators, and our wider community.

The Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum embraces holistic learning for each child, where we foster and extend all children’s current interest, knowledge, and Skills. We believe in the balance of structure and play based learning providing a curriculum that is rich in choice and variety.

Each child has the right to make choices in regard to their learning and should feel a strong sense of well-being and safely at all times.

Children are encouraged to make their own choices, to explore art and creativity, enjoy physical play, practice mindfulness and develop meaningful, positive relationships with Educators and peers.

We understand that every child learns at their own pace, so we strive to create learning experiences with a focus on each particular interest and need for every child.

At Junction Village Early Education, we strongly believe meeting the emotional needs of every child to be incredibly important.

Each child’s growing competence and confidence is supported in many ways, from the provision of healthy nutritious meals to flexible play spaces for physical activity and everything in between.

We acknowledge the Bunurong people as the first custodians of this land on which we learn and play.

At Junction Village Early Education we see families as children’s first and most influential educators. Our relationships with children and families is a top priority.

Our highly experienced teams provide beautiful, thoughtful, and inviting environments that strive to spark curiosity and invite children to play and explore. Our learning environments provide children with open access to beautiful outdoor areas and natural play resources.

At Junction Village Early Education we empower children to develop a true appreciation and love of the natural environment and its relationship to their world.

We encourage children to love and appreciate their world by being part of the environment and connecting with nature in their own way. Our role is to encourage children’s wonder and investigation of nature, as we model practices of sustainability, care and love for the environment through conversations, projects and taking real action.

My two daughter went to a Creche where Tash was the centre manager, I was nervous at first but from my first meet and greet with Tash I felt at ease, Tash is kind, caring and understanding she goes out of her way to make sure the care in her centre is outstanding!
